Winds are weak over the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the area of low pressure over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines is bringing unsettled weather to the region. At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Krovanh was centred about 360 kilometres north of Okinawa. It is forecast to move south at about 10 kilometres per hour lingering over the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands. Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow: Mainly cloudy. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees tomorrow morning. Sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 31 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Isolated showers later. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds. Outlook: Sunny intervals and a few showers on Sunday. Becoming fine in the following couple of days.
