General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Saudel will move across the vicinity of the coast of eastern Guangdong today. Under the combined effect of Saudel and the northeast monsoon, the weather will be windier with swells over the coast of southern China. Saudel is expected to edge closer to the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary again tomorrow, but there are rather large uncertainties in its intensity by then. There will still be a few showers over the coast of Guangdong tomorrow and on Saturday. Under the influence of a continental airstream, the weather will improve and showers will ease off over southern China early to midweek next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Krovanh will move towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands today, and linger over the region in the next couple of days.
