Trump puts trust in AI bosses to 'police themselves'

As fears mount over the safety of rapidly advancing AI models, US President Donald Trump gathered tech leaders at the White House on Tuesday where he said they signed a "morally binding" commitment to self-regulate and build adequate safeguards on the fast-moving technology.
