Tale behind the change of a government department’s name in Tamil Nadu

For nearly 25 years, the Puthiya Tamilagam president K. Krishnasamy had been carrying on a campaign against the Tamil nomenclature of the Department for the Welfare of Adi Dravidar and Tribes. He had unsuccessfully raised the issue in the Assembly twice.
