Kaushambi Factory Blast: Main Accused Naushad Arrested After Police Encounter

A major development has emerged in the Kaushambi firecracker factory blast case, with police arresting the alleged main accused, Naushad, following an encounter. Naushad is among six people named in the case registered after the explosion, which killed 11 people and injured more than four others. The administration has continued its crackdown following the deadly blast. Earlier, police carried out bulldozer action against the house of accused Adil in the presence of heavy police deployment. The explosion also caused significant damage to more than half a dozen nearby houses, leaving the area in mourning. Rescue and relief operations have continued amid concerns that people could still be trapped under the debris. Police had formed multiple teams to track down the accused and had assured that all those involved would be arrested. With Naushad’s arrest, investigators are expected to intensify efforts to apprehend the remaining accused and establish the circumstances surrounding the illegal firecracker operation.
