Govt, private hospitals likely to be graded on quality & safety

Niti Aayog is developing a national quality framework for public and private hospitals, aligned with international standards, to help patients compare hospitals and improve healthcare quality. The framework will include patient safety, clinical outcomes, readmission rates, medication errors and specialty-specific indicators such as survival and mortality rates.
