Finance Minister meets AIIB chief and discusses opportunities to further deepen ties

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met AIIB President Zou Jiay in New Delhi. They discussed deepening the India-AIIB partnership and infrastructure priorities. Support for transport connectivity and local-currency financing was also explored. Increased private sector participation and AIIB's global presence were key topics. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit.
