Adani Airports to revamp Mumbai T1 North section from Jan; 9% traffic to shift

Adani Airports will commence a phased redevelopment of Mumbai airport's Terminal 1 starting in January 2027. The initial phase will impact around 5 million passengers each year due to safety concerns. Airlines can temporarily shift operations to the newly opened Navi Mumbai International Airport to minimize disruptions. The redevelopment aims to increase Terminal 1's capacity by 33% once completed.
