TORONTO — Canada’s premier event facility is modernizing patron safety. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has selected Xtract One Technologies to deploy advanced threat detection systems across its sprawling downtown complex.

The venue will install sixteen specialized security gateways covering over a dozen entry points across both primary buildings. The state-of-the-art systems detect concealed weapons using artificial intelligence without requiring visitors to empty their pockets.

Officials expect the upgrade to significantly enhance crowd flow while reinforcing safety standards for the millions of delegates attending world-class international exhibitions each year.
