Washington has been urged to revoke the US visa issued to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom raised serious concerns regarding religious minority rights, calling on the administration to deny him entry.

The commission's demand has sparked fresh diplomatic friction between the two nations. Indian officials promptly rejected the allegations, characterizing the advisory body's stance as biased, misinformed, and an unwarranted interference in standard international travel.
