Fresh violence erupted in Manipur as unidentified gunmen ambushed a group of travelers in Kangpokpi district, leaving four Naga civilians dead and others injured.

The deadly attack unfolded between Makui Ashang and Thanamba Naga villages. Preliminary reports reveal that the assailants unleashed indiscriminate gunfire on six individuals journeying toward the Naga-majority Senapati district.

Security forces have cordoned off the volatile area and launched an extensive search operation to track down the perpetrators.
