Catastrophic flash floods have wreaked havoc across three districts in Nepal, pushing the confirmed death toll to 270 following the recovery of 93 more bodies.

India's Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that at least 288 Indian nationals remain missing in the deluge, while 21 individuals have been successfully rescued so far.

Emergency teams and military personnel continue battling treacherous terrain to reach isolated regions, as authorities fear the casualty count may rise further in the coming days.
