Former DRDO chief G. Satheesh Reddy, alongside 30 pilgrims from Hyderabad, made a miraculous escape from the catastrophic floods in Nepal, crossing the vulnerable region mere hours before devastating waters washed through.
The group had been navigating the mountainous terrain when torrential downpours triggered deadly flash floods and widespread landslides across the Himalayan nation, cutting off major transit routes.
Officials confirmed today that all 31 pilgrims are unharmed and have safely arrived in Saga, Tibet, where they are currently resting before resuming their journey.
