A major welfare proposal aiming to empower marginalized communities across the district is currently awaiting final government clearance, according to senior administrative officials.

Under the comprehensive blueprint submitted by the district administration, eligible SC and ST households are slated to receive five cents of designated ‘DC Manna’ residential land within urban zones.

Additionally, rural families will be granted one acre of cultivable agricultural land to foster sustainable livelihoods and ensure long-term economic independence.
