US and Mexico Launch Tijuana Border Anti-Drone Shield

Mexico and the United States have deployed advanced fixed and mobile counter-drone systems along the Tijuana-San Diego border corridor. This joint security operation aims to actively detect and disable commercial drones increasingly exploited by transnational criminal organizations for illicit smuggling and surveillance activities across the highly sensitive international frontier, according to officials from the Mexican Defense Secretariat.
