Winds are weak over Guangdong. Showers triggered by high temperatures are affecting the coastal areas. At noon, Tropical Depression Krovanh was centred about 570 kilometres south-southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move north or north-northeast at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of Shikoku to Honshu of Japan. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight: Hot with sunny periods in the afternoon. There will also be a few showers. More showers in some areas with thunderstorms. Visibility relatively low in some areas at first. Mainly cloudy tonight. Light winds. Outlook: Mainly fine tomorrow and very hot during the day. Sunny periods and one or two showers in the following couple of days. Windier with a few showers over the weekend.
