Winds are weak and the weather is mainly fine over the coast of Guangdong. At noon, Tropical Storm Krovanh was centred about 70 kilometres northwest of Okinawa. It is forecast to move south at about 15 kilometres per hour lingering over the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands. Meanwhile, the tropical depression near Iwo Jima was centred about 610 kilometres west-northwest of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the seas south of Japan. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight: Mainly fine and hot in the afternoon. One or two isolated showers. Becoming cloudy tonight. Light winds. Outlook: Sunny intervals and a few showers tomorrow. Becoming fine in the following couple of days.
