Winds are weak over the coast of Guangdong. At 2 a.m., Tropical Storm Krovanh was centred about 260 kilometres north of Okinawa. It is forecast to move south at about 10 kilometres per hour lingering over the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands. Meanwhile, Tropical Depression near Iwo Jima was centred about 480 kilometres west-southwest of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 26 kilometres per hour towards the seas south of Japan. Weather forecast for today: Mainly cloudy. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees in the morning. Sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 31 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Isolated showers later. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds. Outlook: Sunny intervals and a few showers on Sunday. Becoming fine in the following couple of days.
