General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Saudel will move eastwards across the northern part of the South China Sea, edging closer to the coast of eastern Guangdong gradually today and tomorrow. Under its combined effect with the northeast monsoon, the weather will be windier with squally showers and swells over the coast of southern China today and tomorrow. Saudel is expected to weaken slightly in the latter part of this week, but there will still be a few showers over the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the area of low pressure over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines will intensify gradually and move towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands in the next couple of days.
