FIU Issues Compliance Notices To 15 Offshore Crypto Platforms

The Financial Intelligence Unit-India has issued compliance notices to 15 offshore virtual digital asset service providers operating illegally without registration. The regulatory body also requested the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to block access to their URLs for failing to comply with local anti-money laundering frameworks, aiming to safeguard Indian investors from unauthorized financial risks.
