Rep. Himes: Iran Regime Not ‘On the Verge of Collapse’

Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, says he does not believe Iran's regime is on the verge of collapse and warns that additional economic pressure could produce "blowback" on American consumers through higher energy and goods prices. Himes also criticizes Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's leadership of the Pentagon amid fresh scrutiny following Army Secretary Dan Driscoll's resignation. And ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Himes says the US is safer today, but must remain flexible and prepared for emerging national security threats.
