More than 75,000 people have been newly displaced within Chad’s Lake Province following a resurgence in Boko Haram attacks in recent months. That is the latest figure from the International Organization for Migration, which is providing emergency assistance to meet their most immediate needs. Most of these tens of thousands of people have fled the islands of Lake Chad, seeking safety in towns and villages further away from the island areas. FRANCE 24's Harold Girard reports.
