Sweet shops in UP free to set ‘Use By’ dates, must ensure safety till then: FSDA

The clarification comes ahead of the implementation of the state’s recently issued guidelines on shelf-life declaration and labelling of sweets. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that displaying the “Use By” date on sweets will become mandatory from October 15.
