Putin’s new drone hunter ready to take on NATO? Russia flexes Bison drone killer system in Egypt

Russia is set to showcase its new Bison counter-drone system overseas for the first time at the Egypt International Airshow 2026. Developed to detect, track and destroy small, low-flying drones, Bison combines radar, electro-optical sensors and four 7.62mm machine guns for close-range defence. The system comes as Russia expands its counter-drone and robotic warfare capabilities amid rising NATO tensions.
