Dramatic Timelapse Captures Floriston Fire Spreading Across California

A massive plume of smoke rose over the mountains near the California-Nevada border as the Floriston Fire spread across more than 600 acres. The wildfire prompted evacuation orders and warnings, while firefighters deployed aircraft, bulldozers and ground crews to contain the blaze. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
