Sweden to Buy HIMARS Artillery in €630 Million Deal

Sweden has authorized its armed forces to purchase the US-manufactured HIMARS rocket artillery system from Lockheed Martin in a deal worth nearly €630 million, or seven billion Swedish crowns. Alongside the procurement, Sweden signed a parallel defense agreement with Finland to jointly operate both nations' rocket artillery forces, boosting bilateral military cooperation and strengthening regional defense capabilities.
