Shipping traffic via Strait of Hormuz stays below 10-day average, data shows

On September 23, three commodity vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz, which is lower than recent averages. A LNG tanker, Al Mafyar, was reported reentering the strait after a brief absence. Meanwhile, 22 vessels transited the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which connects the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. This figure also reflects a decrease compared to the past ten days.
