NCLT rejects Uniton Infra insolvency plea against Shapoorji Pallonji over Rs 4.31 crore claim

The National Company Law Tribunal rejected Uniton Infra’s plea seeking insolvency proceedings against Shapoorji Pallonji & Co over an alleged Rs 4.31 crore default linked to road resurfacing work in Nellore. The tribunal said one invoice fell under the Covid-era ban on bankruptcy filings, while the remaining claim was below the Rs 1 crore threshold.
