Investor sentiment plunges to 16-month low, AAII survey shows

Investor sentiment fell to its lowest level since May 2025, according to the latest AAII survey. Bearish investors rose to 53.3%, while bullish sentiment dropped to 28.8%. The bull-bear spread fell to -24.5%, as elevated oil prices, a Fed rate hike and market volatility fuelled caution among individual investors.
