India's first Bullet Train project is progressing rapidly with key milestones expected soon. The Surat to Bilimora section is targeted for commissioning next year. Civil construction on the
Vapi-Surat section will be completed by December. The first test coach for the Bullet Train has already been manufactured. High-speed rail services are anticipated to commence in August 2027.
