EPFO told to pay 6% interest on Rs 14 lakh PF claim after 35-day delay: What consumer commission said

The Mumbai consumer commission ruled against the EPFO, citing service deficiency linked to inadequate communication regarding a joint declaration application. Consequently, the commission mandated EPFO to pay six percent interest on the delayed EPF claim, which was filed by the complainant back in October 2016.
