Delhi Cabinet approves revised solar policy, targets free 3 KW panels for 2.30 lakh consumers

Delhi's Cabinet has approved a revised solar policy for residents. Consumers using up to 400 units monthly will get free 3 KW solar panels. The government plans to install these panels for 2.30 lakh consumers. This initiative aims to boost solar energy adoption across the city. The free installation program will be completed by March 2027.
