Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has urged the Union government to extend immediate relief and rescue support to Indian nationals stranded in devastating floods across Nepal.

Addressing reporters at Kalaburagi airport, Kharge expressed deep sorrow over the disaster. He emphasized that numerous travelers from Karnataka and various other states are currently trapped in the deluge, with several casualties already reported.

Kharge called on the Centre to coordinate swift evacuation missions and ensure substantial financial aid for the bereaved families.
