In a landmark initiative to empower domestic talent, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has officially contracted 22 players for the upcoming domestic season.

The retainership structure is divided into three distinct tiers. Top-tier Grade A cricketers will pocket ₹12 lakh annually, while Grade B and Grade C athletes will receive ₹8 lakh and ₹6 lakh, respectively.

MCA officials emphasized that this graded system aims to ensure sustained financial stability and inspire competitive excellence across all domestic tournaments.
