Thiruvananthapuram — Police have launched an official investigation following a security breach on Tuesday, when a local group intercepted Chief Minister Satheesan’s official convoy at Chenthi.

The motorcade was en route to Chempazhanthy when organizers of a parallel Sree Narayana Guru celebration flagged down the vehicles, urging the Chief Minister to make an impromptu visit to their event.

Security personnel swiftly intervened to clear the thoroughfare, and senior officers are now reviewing travel protocols to address the lapse.
