Two engineering students were killed on the spot and four others sustained critical injuries after a reckless lorry rammed into them from behind in Ibrahimpatnam on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

The heavy vehicle, speeding from the Mall gram panchayat route, struck the unsuspecting group walking along the road. One student miraculously escaped unhurt amid the violent collision.

Emergency responders swiftly rushed the injured to a nearby private hospital, where several remain in critical condition. Local police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing driver.
