Despite severe monsoon deluge across neighboring Nepal, border regions in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have recorded no adverse impact, authorities confirmed in New Delhi.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Inspector General Narendra Singh Bundela briefed the press, announcing that 20 specialized teams have been strategically stationed across northern belts. Nine units are operating in vulnerable pockets of Bihar, while 11 remain stationed across Uttar Pradesh.
The disaster teams stand fully equipped to execute swift evacuation, water rescue, and relief distribution should localized waterlogging intensify.
