Former staff members of the renowned military publication Stars and Stripes have launched a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration, alleging widespread censorship and direct retaliation against editorial independence.

According to the complaint filed in federal court, administration officials repeatedly attempted to suppress critical reporting and control editorial directives, infringing upon protected First Amendment freedoms.
