VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks announced Thursday the signing of veteran goaltender Chris Driedger to a professional tryout agreement ahead of the upcoming NHL season.

The 30-year-old netminder brings valuable league experience to the organization, having previously suited up for the Ottawa Senators, Florida Panthers, and Seattle Kraken over his professional career.

Driedger's arrival injects experienced competition into Vancouver's training camp roster as the coaching staff looks to solidify goaltending depth.
