Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has announced a sharp increase in compressed natural gas (CNG) prices across the national capital region, hiking rates by ₹3.89 per kilogram.
Following this latest revision, CNG now retails at ₹86.98 per kg in Delhi, dealing a fresh financial blow to auto-rickshaw operators, taxi drivers, and daily commuters.
The steep hike comes in direct response to persistently elevated international liquefied natural gas (LNG) benchmarks, forcing energy distributors to pass soaring procurement costs directly onto retail consumers.
